Correspondence Course FAQs
What is a correspondence course?
All IMDT correspondence courses are fully accredited, easily accessible through your account on the IMDT website. All reading material, study guidance, reading lists etc will be there for you to complete as you work through each stage of your course
What support can I expect?
Tutor support is excellent! Email the Student Support Team at any time during your course for guidance. Communication is via email to ensure that you have a copy of your guidance as well as any supporting information we may send you in the form of weblinks and articles. The Student Support Team endeavour to answer your queries within 48 hours of receipt
To ensure that you are going in the right direction with your studies, we ask you to submit a draft of the first few answers at the beginning of Unit 1 so that we can review your initial work and offer guidance to get you started
Once you have submitted your completed Unit for marking, you will receive full feedback and guidance from your course tutor. You will either pass the Unit and the next Unit will be made available to you or, you may be asked for a little more work on a question or two and you will be given extra time to complete this resubmission. Some of the best learning happens during the resubmission so if you are asked to resubmit, look on it as a positive learning experience! We aim to return the marked Unit within 7-10 working days
What is expected of me?
It is important that your studies are pitched at the right level and if in any doubt, email
[email protected] and book a call to chat things through with one of our Student Support Team
Our Level 3 courses assume no prior knowledge as these are foundation levels. We offer full guidance on how to complete the course and ask that you take time to read the material that we send you carefully
Keep in touch with the Tutor Support Team as we are here to help you
Enjoy your studies!
Can I complete the course quicker than the designated duration?
Absolutely!
Our correspondence courses are designed around people with busy lives but if you feel you have more time to dedicate to studying, you will be able to complete the course over a shorter period.
