All credit notes issued by IMDT are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Where any refund is due to you for products you have paid for in advance but not received, we refund you as soon as possible (where applicable, within 14 days of receiving notice of cancellation of a booking) refunds are made by BACS. We don't charge a fee for the refund.

Changes to products and these terms:
IMDT reserves the right to change a product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, to make minor technical adjustments and improvements that do not affect your use of the product and to update digital content, provided that the digital content always matches the description of it that we provided to you before you bought it.
We can only make other changes to products or these terms if we give you notice of the changes, along with the right to end the contract before the changes take effect and receive a refund for any products you've paid for in advance but not received.
Increases in VAT:
If the rate of VAT changes between your booking date and the date we supply the product, we adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
We can end our contract with you:
We can end our contract with you for a product and claim any compensation due to us (including enforcement costs) if:
- you don't make any payment to us when it's due and you still don't make payment within 14 days of our reminding you that payment is due;
- you don't, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with the information or cooperation that we need to provide the product; or
- acting reasonably, we consider that you have conducted yourself in an offensive or harmful manner (including behaviour which would reasonably be considered to be violent, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, bullying or intimidating) towards us, our employees, contractors or other customers.
In relation to point 3 above, where appropriate, a warning will be given before we end our contract with you. No warning will be given where the conduct is serious or urgent action is needed to protect us, our employees, contractors or other customers.

Limitation of Liability:
We're not responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract if the loss is:
- Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).
- Caused by a delaying event outside our control. As long as we contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay.
- Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action. For example, damage to your own digital content or device which was caused by digital content we supplied and which you could have avoided by following our advice in relation to the digital content.
To the extent that you use a product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession then, save in respect of any liability which cannot legally be limited, our total liability to you for all losses arising under or in connection with any contract between us, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to what you paid for the product and all claims for loss of profit or indirect or consequential loss are wholly excluded.
Data Protection:
How we use any personal data you give us is set out in our Privacy Policy:
https://www.imdt.uk.com/privacy-policy.
IMDT instructors may on occasion take photos during a course to be used to promote IMDT services or as keepsakes for course attendees. If for any reason you would like to avoid your image being used, please do email the IMDT office prior to the event or let any of the course instructors know.
Transferring a contract to a third party:
We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your product. We'll tell you in writing if this happens and we'll ensure that the transfer won't affect your rights under the contract.
You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this.
Rights under a contract:
Nobody else has any rights under your contract with us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.
Invalidity:
If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.
Enforcement:
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you're not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.
Complaints policy:
We will do our best to resolve any problems you have with us or our products as per our Complaints Procedure:
https://www.imdt.uk.com/complaint-procedure.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be settled by the English courts.
