THE number one major problem presented by Owners to today's Dog trainers and Behaviourists.
This Course is for anyone working with dogs in any capacity including; Dog Trainers, Rescue Staff, Veterinary Professionals and anyone interested in canine behaviour.
This Course is a combination of case studies, theory and demonstrations, including valuable consultation video playback
You will study not only what is aggression, but also the valuable tools required for effective and safe rehabilitation.
Such an interesting day covering a range of Aggression examples and how to deal with them, including application of learning theory in a really easy to understand way. I love the video examples so we can see how the learning is applied in practice. As ever, course delivery was superb. Highly recommended!
Another awesome course, superbly delivered with loads of practical information and laughter to boot! I highly recommend this course to anyone involved with dogs who wants to understand and deal with aggression.
Brilliant and essential course for everyone!
Thank you for yet another informative highly addictive course!
Thanks for making me feel welcome today. The course was very insightful and I enjoyed meeting people who clearly love their work and have a passion for helping Dogs live better lives.
Fantastic day. A really valuable course. Thank you!
Once again an excellent course, very well presented and informative. The content was easily understood and completely relevant. I have studied dog training for many years and can honestly say IMDT have got it right. Looking forward to the next course. Cannot rate IMDT and the Presenters highly enough.
I found this course fascinating. Loved how the course broke the ingredients down and feel I have a deeper understanding to go and help clients and their dogs
Loved this course, pack with useful information
I absolutely loved this course; Steve was very engaging, with a vast knowledge on the subject. The videos were very useful to backup the theory we have just discussed. The live demo with the dog was brilliant just cemented all that we have been taught. Thank u for the great day.
Highly recommend this course, enjoyable, informative and Steve answered all of the "my dog" questions that were thrown at him.....Thank you Steve and Mus excellent as always
I've been on courses in the past and thought they were a waste of time and money, but training with the IMDT is completely different. Enjoyable, informative, and all questions answered. It's really helping me to grow my business.
Highly recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, lots of great information delivered in a relaxed and friendly way. Thank you Steve and Mus.
Thanks Mus and Steve for another excellent course. Missy and Yogi were stars !
Lots of great info and explanations with live demos
Great course which was presented in a way that anyone could understand. Relaxed and very informative day. Great venue and lunch.
Really enjoyed the course. It's given me the knowledge and confidence to work with dog aggression. Thank you so much
As with all the courses run by Imdt, you go away really positive. The courses are amazing, really informative and interesting. The courses are always fun and the staff are really helpful. Would definitely recommend.
This was a brilliant course! So much information. Would highly recommend.
Really informative course, learned so much useful information. Presentation in a relaxed way so easy to understand and take in.
Yet another fantastic course by IMDT. Steve as always makes learning so much fun by being so enthusiastic, funny and presenting the information in an easy to follow format. My brain was buzzing with great ideas and more confidence at the end of day.
A brilliant course for anyone working with dogs, and dog owners with concerns about their dog's aggression! No jargon, easy to understand explainations, and `how to's' for the rehabiliation dogs. I particularly enjoyed the session on `Handler Styles,'. Steve Mann delivered the course with humour, which held my attention from beginning to end. Looking forward to attending more courses. The IMDT makes sense!
Lots of new tips and different ways to think about things. Looking forward to the next courses I have booked with IMDT!
Another well organised, informative and enjoyable course delivered by Steve Mann. Steve's relaxed and humorous approach really keeps the delegates motivated all day. I came away with plenty of new ideas to help me work with my clients who are struggling with their dogs who are suffering from aggression issues or even just over excited issues when greeting other dogs. Highly recommend this course.
A big thank you to Steve Mann for a brilliant day I learned so much and feel a lot more confident in dealing with dog, A must course or anyone who is a trainer - thanks Steve
As always with the IMDT, I came away buzzing and motivated to put in the practice all the new things I'd learnt. It was fun, relaxed, informative and I'd thoroughly recommend
Excellent course. So much information and techniques that we can apply directly to the dogs we are helping. Highly recommend.
Utterly brilliant. Steve Mann was able to deliver a lot of information in a fun and humorous fashion, and was very informative and constructed the session into easy to understand chunks. He was more than happy to answer any and every question and provided great ways of achieving the desired goals. Thoroughly enjoyable and I will be attending many more.
Relevant and very informative. Especially like the promotion of watch the behaviour rather than label it. Very relevant and easy listening and learning on what is a very emotive subject. Explanations and live demonstrations proved invaluable in being able to view as well as talk.QA throughout is a great way to learn of each other as well as the instructor. Especially loved Nancy running around. Will continue to recommend IMDT courses to friends and colleagues.
I was really looking forward to this course and wasn't disappointed! It was very informative, with lots of 'real-life' examples and videos to watch. Steve's entertaining and straight forward approach to running these courses really helps me digest and remember the absolute wealth of knowledge he delivers. A great course that really complements the Canine Body Language 1-day course too.
An excellent course! Very informative. A must for not only trainers and those who work with dogs, but also for owners wanting to know more. Steve is a great tutor and there was no "death by powerpoint" - very important! I would highly recommend the IMDT courses to anyone interested in dogs, whether working with or an owner.
Loved it. Thanks everyone that helped to run it!
A very enjoyable day course, great video examples showing Steve working on aggression cases, and most importantly Steve gave lots of time to answering peoples questions. Felt well cared for with nice fruit teas during break and a healthy pack lunch provided too. Nice company to be found. The outdoor demonstration near end of course with the Bull Terrier was also excellent. Look forward to more courses with the IMDT.
Thoroughly loved and highly recommend this course - for those working with dogs or owning dogs you will learn some vital information that will help mantain a healthy and happy dog:)
Very educational and informative day, I always enjoy my trips to London and Europe with the IMDT. You will become a better dog trainer, and stand out from the rest through the IMDT!!!!
great day,had some new things to get my head round like remembering what mutualyexclusive means but i live in hope that it will all click into place. This was my first course with IMDT and wont be my last
Very enjoyable, gained more understanding to help me progress with my dog.
Really interesting and stimulating! Filled with masses of information. Left feeling I had an overload (in a good way) of information to digest .Thouroughly worth it and would definitely recommend.
The venue is amazing and lunch was good! The course content was informative and aimed at people of all levels. There was a good amount of practical and theory and the breaks in the day were well timed. I liked the relaxed atmosphere in the room, this showed by the amount of people willing to speak up and ask questions (sometimes lacking in big group situations). I thought Steve answered the questions openly and honestly. It is difficult when someone wants a 1-2-1 session in a seminar and I thought one participant did take up too much time. I would highly recommend the course to others for either their own benefit or in a professional capacity.
Another awesome course, simply explained, demos and questions answered. Perfect and fun.
Invaluable learning path for the professional within the dog world or guardians of a reactive dog. This course and as always incredible team behind it give you the understanding, tools and empowerment to modify the behaviour in a kind and emphatic manner!! Highly recommend it!!
Excellent course run by Steve Mann. Very informative, nice balance of theory, video presentations and live practical demonstrations. Highly recommended!
Informative, Interesting and Enjoyable. Highly Recommended
a Brilliant course. Well presented in the classroom and great demonstrations outside. Made a huge difference to how I now handle reactive dogs
This course was great for me in particular as I have worked with a lot of dogs with behavioural problems at the rescue centre. My own dog has minor behaviour problems when meeting new people, so I loved learning about all of the signs and signals to watch out for to prevent an accident. I now feel a lot more confident working with aggression cases because I have the knowledge to pass on to my clients.
Such an amazing course, very informative and good fun. The skills you learn are so valuable and the methods really work.I have had fantastic results with aggression cases since going on this course
Great course, i attended this course because i have a reactive dog and wanted to know how to help her and where to start. Steve's presenting style made everything understandable and i feel i can now help my own dog, i left wanting to know more and have already booked onto the 2 day course - thank you
Informative course with lots of useful and valuable information provided by theory in the classroom and practical demonstration.
Really informative course delivered well with opportunities for questons. I think that an additional day with further in depth info and demos would be as well attended as this course was.
A great course full of useful information with good detailed practical and video evidence. Fantastic insight to different types of aggression and rehabilitation in dogs and how to deal with problems positively!
A well presented and informative course. A good balance of practical and classroom learning. An excellent bolt-on course with techniques to add to the knowledge from other IMDT courses.
Great mix of practical demonstrations and learning theory delivered in a comprehensive way. This seminar/workshop is a must do for anyone advertising their services as a professional dog trainer to the general public.
Though only a 1 day course plenty of important areas covered. The class size at first seamed large; but Steve took the course in an open, friendly and informative way to such a degree that in no way did the size deter from the event. So much was learned to suggest to me the option of perhaps a more in depth course would be well received especially in light of the legal challenges dog owners face now and no doubt in the future.
Very informative course. well structured with all vital points covered. an absolute must on your IMDT journey
Invaluable insight into what can be a daunting area. Real, practical solution building to help us rehabilitate dogs and support owners struggling with aggression issues.
This is one day that is a 'must' for dog trainers... the information, ideas and strategies that are offered have enabled me to develop successful programmes for numerous dogs. The focus is on rehabilitation and being able to help
