A very special one-off course for anyone interested in expanding their portfolio of exercises to teach in class and 1.2.1s
'The Exercises' course content is appropriate for new and experienced Dog Trainers who would like to increase their 'tool-box' and options of exercises to teach, building on Foundation exercises through to Advanced exercises.
- Many, MANY exercises to teach in class and 1.2.1s
- Gathering ingredients to build your own exercise recipes
- Measuring progress
- What owners WANT
- The role of Play in class
- Scentwork for all
- Appropriate criteria shifts to keep all engaged and all LEARNING
Due to the FURIOUS note-taking you'll be doing on this course, attendees do not bring dogs.
We will however be demonstrating several exercises and each practical session will have an extensive Q+A to ensure you understand how you can add the exercises to your own teaching portfolio.
Places are limited on this course and will go on a first-come-first-served-basis
See you there!
Excellent day with lots of ideas and food for thought. Presented with humour. The day moved on at a good pace without feeling too rushed.
Fabulous day, lots of great ideas. I can highly recommend. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
This course was great to show how to advance your training methods with great ideas to use and demonstrations shown.
Great course . As ever.... humorous , fun and motivating delivery from Steve . Almost too much of a good thing and furious note taking was to be had . Some real lightbulb moments .
I attended the course in York. Met lots of like minded people and people who are far more experienced and competent than me! The day was overseen by Steve Mann who just makes everything look so easy and logical! Totally enjoyed the day and learned so much! Steve answered all and any questions and the day was just really informative and enjoyable. Thank you Steve!
This was my first IMDT course and won’t be my last! It was excellent. Really enjoyed it and learnt a lot. Steve is great trainer / teacher being very personable and humorous in his delivery of the course. His obvious vast experience ensures clarity and he is also very realistic! Highly recommend.
Steve is so easy to listen to with his passion for dogs shining through! Very much enjoyed and highly recommend 🐾🐾
