Hello, my name is Theresa and I am a certified IMDT and DTC dog/puppy trainer, IMDT Easy Peasy Puppy instructor, as well as an Advanced Accredited Canine Hoopers UK trainer Adv.ACHUKI and a Canine Body Language Instructor covering Swansea and surrounding areas.. I use only positive, force free, reward based training methods that are backed by science with continued professional development, offering both 1-1, group classes, workshops and remote consultations/online training.
Whether you are thinking of getting or starting your journey with a new puppy. Need help through the adolescent stage with your young dog or indeed wish to start or continue training with your adult dog , I am here to help build and strengthen relationships for lifelong skills for your dog and your family. Alongside I also use a holistic approach between dog & human, ensuring that both physical and emotional needs are taken into account, meaning that any training provided is suitable, fun and achievable for dogs and humans alike.
My background outside of dog training is in education, specifically supporting learners with speech, language & communication difficulties as a Social Communication Champion, an accredited Thrive Practitioner and an Attention Autism approved facilitator. I also have a passion for animal assisted learning and Sensory integration education
and have chosen this field to expand my knowledge and professional development through Animal Centred Education Freework courses, which I am sure will support & further enhance the services I offer.
