Overview

Janine Erasmus is a graduate of the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) which are recognized organizations in the UK and Internationally. She is a professional member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) International and The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (ADPT).

Janine recently immigrated to the UK from South Africa and now resides in North Wales.

With over 15 years’ experience Janine has been running group and private training classes for all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. The Paw Squad Traning Centre was her last training school before moving to the UK.

With her in depth knowledge, her vast understanding of dogs and competency in various force free, positively reinforcing training methodologies, Janine also offers behaviour consultations to identify and help teach dogs and their guardians a different approach to life by assisting with behaviour modification programmes.

In 2019 she founded and opened The Barking Lot Dog Day Care, which provides positively managed social environment for dogs during the day by trained and experienced staff. Even after immigrating to the UK her legacy and success of the day care continues to grow under her guidance to serve a large community in South Africa.

Janine has been passionate about animals all her life and is particularly interested in establishing and building relationships between dogs and their guardians. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing those WOW moments between guardians and their dogs, seeing their bond develop, and giving peace of mind that the dog responds in a positive manner.

Committed to providing the most effective, convenient, and relevant solutions to her clients’ dog training needs, Janine avidly pursues ongoing education and professional development by attending several seminars and workshops per year and keeping current on all industry literature and techniques.
