Overview

Hey, I'm Amie and I'm one half of Canine Pawtential 🌟
I've been working with dogs and their humans for the past 4 years and it really is my absolute passion in life.

I started with volunteering at training classes in May 2018 when I was going through Puppy School with my own two JRTs. I volunteered at just about every class possible, to gain as much experience as I could! I just couldn't get enough!
Whilst volunteering at training classes, in January 2019, I started both group and solo dog walking 5 days per week. This truly gave me an incredible and valuable insight into working with dogs. How they express their feelings, emotions and how they interact with other dogs, people and their environment.

As part of my ongoing development, I've attended, and continue to attend, a variety of courses, webinars and workshops with IMDT, The Dog Training College, Fenzi Dog Sports Academy and Canine Principles. At the moment, I'm currently working towards a Canine Coaching Diploma from Canine Principles.
I'm still constantly learning every day and have a real interest in so many different aspects of dog training from dog sports such as agility, hoopers and cani-fit to the real dog geek stuff like predation substitute training and behaviour modification.

I'm a Certified Canine Body Language Specialist with the Dog Training College, a Gold Member of the Pet Professional Network and fully dedicated to helping lots of guardians how to teach their dogs through kindness, support and bonding methods using positive reinforcement.
