Overview

At It’s All About The Dog, we help dogs and their humans build calmness, confidence and real-life skills through modern, reward-based training in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

We offer puppy training, adolescent dog classes, private 1-1 training, scentwork, enrichment activities and support for dogs struggling with recall, over-arousal, confidence or reactivity. Our focus is always on helping dogs and humans understand each other better, creating practical training solutions that work in everyday life — not just in the training classroom.

Our puppy training classes are designed to help puppies get off to the best possible start, building strong foundations through calm, supportive and enjoyable learning experiences. We believe training should feel achievable and rewarding for both ends of the lead, with a strong emphasis on relationship, emotional wellbeing and understanding why behaviour happens.

Alongside our training classes and private coaching, we also offer a growing range of enrichment-based activities including scentwork, tracking and confidence-building games designed to help dogs use their natural instincts in safe and rewarding ways.

Based at our indoor training venue in Keighley, we welcome clients from across West Yorkshire including Bingley, Skipton, Ilkley, Haworth and Bradford.

Joanne is an accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and a qualified Dynamic Dog Practitioner, with a strong interest in behaviour, emotional wellbeing and real-life training for family dogs. Ongoing professional development and modern, science-led training remain at the heart of everything we do.
