Overview

My speciality is puppy classes and I hold weekly puppy classes at my venue near East Ogwell, just outside Newton Abbot. Most of the lessons are held outside in a field, training in the real world, but I also have access to a indoor training room if its wet and miserable or on dark nights in the winter. As well as puppy classes I hold regular scent work classes, adult dog training, petdog gundog classes and 121 lessons. For those not able to attend the puppy classes in person or who want to start training before their pup is fully vaccinated, I also have a 6week on line course and also can do consultations and lessons via Zoom or Whatsapp. I am able to do house visits too. I am a proud member of the IMDT and follow their ethos for reward based training. I am a great lover of clicker training but you don't have to use one to attend my lessons, but you should want to use reward based methods and to be kind to your puppy while training. I am owned by 8 dogs! A mixture of spaniels, terriers and a Cypriot hound. I also have a boarding kennels which I have owned since 1983 so lots of experience working with dogs.
