Welcome to the A.B.C. Our mission is to help you better understand your animals and support them through a clear, step-by-step, ethical approach to training. Whether you’re seeking support with behaviour challenges or would like to teach your dog or cat new skills, we’re here to help.

If you’ve recently welcomed a rescue dog or cat, brought home a new puppy or kitten, or are navigating changes or challenges with your four-legged companion, the A.B.C. offers personalised training programmes tailored to your animal’s individual needs, history, and environment.

At the A.B.C., we view training as a way to empower animals. By offering choice, predictability, and control, training supports animal welfare and respects their autonomy, emotional wellbeing, and intelligence.

Behaviour consultations are offered via veterinary referral, delivered primarily online to clients nationally and internationally, with in-person sessions available depending on location. Our consultations provide personalised, evidence-based guidance tailored to your animal’s needs and history. We work only within areas of proven expertise and collaborate with a double board-certified Veterinary Behaviourist on more complex cases.

For therapeutic diet plans, a full veterinary history is required to ensure recommendations are safe and appropriate. Nutrition reports are sent directly to your veterinarian for review, with clients included in correspondence where appropriate.
