IMDTBThe IMDTB, which sits within the IMDT, is designed to support Trainers in cases including those such as separation anxiety, dog to human aggression and resource guarding.
For those asked to help with behaviour problems there are very few ways of learning how to accurately recognise, treat and report on cases where the dog's behaviour has become a dangerous problem.
You don't need a degree to be a behaviour expert, but you do need to be educated correctly, with the necessary skills to apply that knowledge and ideally to be supported by like minded professionals.
With all courses covering the necessary aspects in detail, including behavioural diagnosis, treatment, medication, mental and physical wellbeing and the necessary criteria for success on a behaviour by behaviour basis, the IMDTB will help professionals to help more dogs and just as importantly their owners.
The three day assessment to become a Member of The IMDTB includes: written examinations, practical consultation skills , phone interview procedures, video analysis and report writing assessments.
Successful applicants will obtain an OCN Level 4 Accreditation 'Canine Behaviour Analysis and Consultancy' plus the title IMDTB
